Window Replacement & Installation in Huffman, TX
Drafty in the winter, foggy between the panes, painted shut, or just plain worn out? We replace tired old windows with energy-efficient Low-E / Energy Star windows — and we can cut in new or bigger openings too. One team frames it, sets it, and finishes the trim inside and out.
Drafty, foggy, or stuck windows? Time for new ones
Old windows quietly cost you money. When the seal fails they fog up between the panes, when the weatherstripping gives out you feel the draft, and either way the AC works overtime fighting them through a Gulf Coast summer. Level Headed Construction replaces worn-out windows with energy-efficient Low-E / Energy Star windows, and because we're a full-service builder, we can also frame in a brand-new window or enlarge an opening to bring in more light.
We've been building and remodeling around Huffman since 2006, across thousands of jobs. Mike Tubbs comes out and looks at it himself, tells you honestly whether you're looking at a repair or a replacement, and gives you a real number in writing — no quote pressure.
What window installation covers
Most of what we get called out for falls into these:
- Replacement windows
- Energy-efficient Low-E / Energy Star windows
- Foggy & failed double-pane windows
- Drafty & hard-to-open windows
- New & enlarged window openings
- Framing, header & opening prep
- Interior & exterior trim and casing
- Storm & insurance-claim window replacement
Windows damaged in a storm often go in with a roof or siding claim — see our roofing & storm repair page. Replacing windows as part of a bigger project? We also do whole-home remodels and home additions.
One team, inside and out
Swapping a window isn't just popping in the glass. The opening has to be flashed and sealed so water stays out, the trim and casing have to be finished clean on both sides, and any siding, brick, or drywall the change touches has to be put back right. A window-only installer hands that cleanup off to someone else. We do the whole range of work in-house, so the same crew that sets the window finishes the wall around it — one job, one company accountable for how it looks when it's done.
Efficiency that earns its keep in the Texas heat
The right glass makes a real difference here. Low-E coatings reflect the sun's heat, and an Energy Star window is built to hold up to our climate — so the house stays more comfortable and the air conditioner isn't running against leaky, single-pane glass all summer. We'll walk you through the options and help you pick what fits the house and the budget. Eco-friendly materials are available.

It depends on what's wrong. A single broken latch or a bit of failed weatherstripping can be worth fixing. But if the windows are drafty, fogged up between the panes, painted or swollen shut, or rotting at the frame, replacement is usually the better money — newer energy-efficient windows seal tighter and hold up better in the heat. We'll come look, tell you honestly whether it's a repair or a replacement, and not push you toward the bigger job if you don't need it.
Low-E (low-emissivity) glass has a thin coating that reflects heat, so it keeps more of the Texas sun out in the summer and more of your conditioned air in. Energy Star is a rating that tells you a window meets efficiency standards for our climate. We can install energy-efficient Low-E / Energy Star windows so the house stays more comfortable and the AC isn't fighting the windows all summer.
Yes. Because we're a full-service builder and not just a window installer, we can frame in a brand-new window where there wasn't one, or enlarge an existing opening to bring in more light. We handle the framing, the header, the window, and the trim and casing inside and out — and patch the wall, siding, or drywall the change leaves behind.
Sometimes. If a storm broke or damaged your windows, replacement can be part of an insurance claim — often alongside roofing and siding. We do storm and insurance restoration work and can replace damaged windows as part of putting the house back together. Talk to us about what you're seeing and we'll help you understand what's involved.
