Our story

Run by the builder.

Level Headed Construction is a full-service construction company based in Huffman, TX, run by Mike Tubbs since 2006.

Mike came up on framing crews — first as summer work during high school, then full-time after he graduated. The hands-on years stacked up before there was a business name on the truck. Level Headed is the company that grew out of that.

The work ranges from custom homes and full remodels down to a single window that needs replacing. Kitchens and baths are the deepest specialty — those are the rooms where every trade collides and where the small details either land or don’t. After more than 3,500 completed jobs, those details are something we’ve gotten good at.

Free estimates are scheduled at your convenience — no charge, no obligation. Most quotes come back by email so you have the numbers in writing to read at your own pace; smaller jobs get priced on the spot when they’re the kind of thing we can size up walking through. Once the contract is signed, the work goes on the schedule and we get started.

Dedication

Once we take a job, you’ve got our attention. Mike’s on every project from the first walk-through to the last — the same person who scoped it is there at the handoff.
Complete work

Punch-list items get finished. Trim gets caulked. The site gets cleaned. We treat the last 5% the same as the first 95% — because that’s where it shows.
